African movies

I honestly appreciate the fact that Africa is trying it's best to improve in the various sectors but am still concerned with the movie industry.Recently south Africa tried to set pace with the release of district 9 which tried to bring Africa to the lime light but Africa is still has a long way from reaching the Hollywood standards.

African movie producers, directors, writers need to do something about the industry.how do you have a movie story line that flows for over 3 parts.I watch a lot of Hollywood movies and the one thing thats making them out shine Africa movies is the ability to
1- summarize a movie plot within 90 minutes at most
2- keep the viewer in suspense.Their movies are not predictable.

If Africa's movie industry cannot adopt some of this techniques, then they will never become as popular as their Hollywood counter parts.when shall we reach that stage where thousands are blogging about a movie release...Even though they try to learn to use all the effects in the world when the two reasons i have outlined above aren't met..it will still remain a flop..

R kelly coming to uganda Africa

For a small country like Uganda what would be the perfect way to start a new year than have the multi talented urban R&B producer/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter R Kelly coming into the country.

R-Kelly is graced with very successful songs like i believe i can fly, number one ft Keri Hilson among others. The show that is dubbed 'i believe concert' is set to take place in late January 2010 and is proudly sponsored by regional telecommunications giants zain.

But since R-Kelly has been surrounded by scandals of child molestation, some reknown uganda bloggers have already started warning parents to keep their kids away since R kelly is coming to the country.

Despite all that, this show could probably be the biggest event of the year 2010.
